Children's Sunday School

Nursery (6 weeks - 3 years @ 8:30 service and Sunday School hour. Available for ages 6 weeks - 2 years at 11am service)

Our nursery is not just a place for your child to play. Between cuddling, blocks, and bottles, we introduce simple Bible stories via books and puppet shows.

Wiggly, Giggly toddlers and threes (18 months - 3 years, 11am service only)

When your child is ready to move on from the nursery, we offer a fun introduction to Sunday school- right next door! Your child will study one Biblical concept (such as Noah's ark) all month, hearing the story, doing related crafts and music, eating a snack, and with an opportunity for free play. On the final weekend of the month, our staff will bring your child to our worship service, to hear the month's story among the whole congregation and get accustomed to attending the worship service.

Children's Church (3-7 yrs during 11am service)

After the children's moment in our service, you can walk your child down the hall to a special class with others her age. We tell stories (following the lectionary) and discuss them, all at your child's level. Following the lesson, there is an associated craft project. If there's extra time, we have art supplies and Veggie Tales games to play.

Children's Sunday School (3 years - 6th grade during 9:45-10:45 hour)

We have age-appropriate classes for all children. Come join us any day, your child will be very welcome!

Preschool Children's Sunday School (3 - 4 years during 9:45-10:45 hour)

To teach our youngest children about God's love and how to live a Christian life. We use the Wesley curriculum (Click for more information). It not only teaches the children in a fun and developmentally-appropriate way, but you will also be provided with a summary of what your child has learned and how to reinforce it in your life throughout the following week!

Your child will hear and see an age-appropriate Biblical story, told in front of them with visual aids. After the story, they can participate in discussion time, have a snack, and then create some artwork related to this week's tale. We journey through the Bible every 2 years. Classes are divided by age.

5th & 6th grade

Your child will develop Bible skills by looking up scripture, exploring the meaning of verses and stories, and discovering ways to take the lesson into their everyday lives. They even get to organize and run their own missions!
