Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:45. We offer a variety of classes for all stages and ages.
Nursery - Our nursery has a baby room and a 2 year old room. Both sections get a monthly theme, with appropriate lessons, songs and stories. The Nursery is staffed by paid caregivers and adult volunteers. Location: Room 13
Toddler and 2s - a gentle introduction to Sunday School, with simple stories repeated through the month, related artwork and snacks, and lots of fun play. Location: Room 14
3 thru pre-Ks – This class uses the Wesley curriculum, stories and crafts to introduce preschool children to the basics themes of Christianity. Location: Room 12
Godly Play 1 (Kindergarten & 1st Grade) - Godly Play teaches children the stories, symbols, parables, and meanings of the Christian life through stories, art, prayer and play. They aren’t just told the stories, but they are taught to think about what the stories mean to them. Location: Room 7
Godly Play 2 (2nd - 4th Grades) - The stories for the older children are more complex and mature, and the art and small service projects they may do after the story, are related to the theme. Location: Room 8
ARMs- The “Awesome Righteous Minions” bridge the gap between elementary and middle school. Using the Wesley Curriculum, 5th and 6th graders learn the place of stories in the larger biblical context and with practical application to their changing lives. Room 11
Kind Hands Girl's Small Group - Meets the 2nd and 4th Sunday’s, 1st – 5th Grade girls are invited to join this small group led by children for children that meets to pray, play, craft, and serve. For more information contact Shirley Luce (administration@ harrisburgumc.org).
Swift Feet Boy's Small Group - Boys from 1st - 5th grade. Meets the 2nd and 4th Sunday’s at 3 p.m.
3rd Grade Bible Retreat - 3rd grade parents mark your calendars in November on a Friday night and Saturday, Denise Spittle and Sandra Bilbro will be leading a Bible Retreat to help your children learn about the Bible – how to use it, how to read it, how to find your way around in it – and on Sunday children will receive their Bible from the church.

During the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service Children’s Church is offered.
Children's Church is designed to teach children the rhythms, songs, prayers, and meaning of how we worship, and prepare them to move into the sanctuary full-time by 2nd grade.
Children attend the 11:00 a.m. worship service, and after the Children's Moment the children will be lead to the fellowship hall to continue worship at their level. Location: Fellowship Hall
Bible or curriculum studies that meet every Sunday morning between services at 9:45 through 10:45. Door signs identify each class.
Men's Bible Study - This class of men of all ages follows the Adult Bible Studies curriculum study guide which covers both Old and New Testaments.
Middle Ground - Middle Ground is a class for adults in their twenties through early forties, some married, some single, and some with young children.
New Community Class - This is a class of couples and singles of all ages doing different studies with rotating leadership
