SUMMARY:Learn to lead a Small Group
DESCRIPTION:Small Groups are a really important part of what we do here at Harrisburg UMC and we are always working to improve and grow our small group ministry. To do that\, we need people who are willing to help – we need you! Part of how you can help is to learn more about what it means to be a small group leader. \nThe Adult Education Team will be offering Small Group Leader Information Sessions in the church library on Sunday\, October 6th from 5:00-6:30 and again on Sunday\, October 13th from 5:00-6:30. Both of these sessions are the same\, so you will only need to attend whichever one works best for you. These sessions are for folks who are interested in learning more about what it means to lead a small group. We will be discussing why small groups are so vital for discipleship\, the importance of small group leaders\, and expectations for small group leaders. \nIf you are interested in attending or just have questions about the information sessions or small groups in general\, please contact Pastor Wes or the Chair of Adult Ed\, Becky Ortega (rebeccaortegaslp@gmail.com)
