DESCRIPTION:Book Club meeting dates:\nJuly 14\, 21\, and 28\, 10 a.m.\nZoom ID: 848-9159-8689\n\nThe book we’re reading is “I’m Still Here” by Austin Channing Brown. It is available on Kindle\, Nook\, Audible\, and in hardback (Amazon has it). This is a memoir about race in America. My hope is that we can start listening to different voices and be willing to hear things we may need to hear in our day.  Instead of meeting once to discus\, we will cover a few chapters at a time so we can digest and talk.\n\nThe plan is as follows:\n\nJuly 14 – Chapter 1 though 1st Interlude (“Why I love being a black girl”)\nJuly 21 – Chapter 6 through 2nd Interlude (“How to survive racism in an organization)\nJuly 28 – Chapter 10 -14\n\n\n\nEven if you’ve never joined us for Bible Study\, you are welcome to jump in and read with us!
