Sunday Morning Study for Parents Begins April 7
Today’s children and youth are growing up in a world much different than their parents. The access to information and availability of immediate gratification and response in all of our lives has created a culture where so many of our kids are finding themselves searching for identity, belonging and purpose. In the church we have prided ourselves on growing up “good kids,” and we have “good kids” in our churches. What we really need are children with strong Christ-like character. The difference between the two is action and motivation. A child with strong character will stand up for others and will be more confident in who they are as a person, than just a person who is good. All parents are invited to come discover and discuss ways of parenting with developing Christian Character traits in your children.
We will meet in the fellowship hall April 7, 14, 21, and 28 at 10:00 am.
