Name Change UMW to United Women of Faith

United Women of Faith

United Methodist Women is now “United Women in Faith”

We’ve taken a new name to better reflect how we answer our calling today. It’s an exhilarating time,as we commit to even greater inclusivity, action, and impact. We remain women of passion and power, united by God’s love in our mission to support women, children, and youth.

Over the years United Methodist Women have changed their name 25 times. United Methodist Women in Faith will remain as United Methodist Women at Conference level and listed as such in the Book of Discipline.

I have asked our Metro District President, Nancy Ward to attend our meeting Tuesday, April 5th at 1 pm. to better explain this first step in “change” and answer any questions.
